Steel Post Protector
The Handle It post protector bolts to the floor and surrounds the upright column leg and base plate to protect from damages. It is constructed of heavy steel and provides a low cost method of reducing impact damage. Available in a number of sizes to fit most uprights. Custom sizes, including seismic applications, are available upon request.
These post protectors wrap around the 3" upright column face and provide a close fit while protecting the upright from damages caused by collisions. Heavy duty 1/5" thick steel protectors are mounted to concrete floors with four 1/2" diameter wedge anchors.
Standard heights: 12", 18" and 24"
Comes in 3 widths to fit standard 3" columns and larger: 8" for a 5" guard width, 9-1/2" for a 6-1/2" guard width, and 12" for a 9" guard width.
